WHAT IS THIS WORKSHOP ABOUT?

At Easter time sweets are the answer; who cares what the question is!!

Our Easter workshop is divided into two chapters: the traditional marzipan Easter eggs and modern chocolate Easter eggs.  Both the chapters are loaded with a lot of ideas and techniques to fill your Easter basket to the brim.

PART 1 – MARZIPAN EGGS

What is Marzipan?

Marzipan is a soft dough like mixture that is not only used for making Easter eggs, but also as a baking ingredient. Additionally, it is also used for covering fruit cakes created for special occasions. Marzipan based Easter eggs are traditional goodies sent down from generations. The recipe covered in this workshop is simple, easy and full proof to help you create your masterpiece with just a few ingredients.

 

PART 2 – CHOCOLATE EGGS

Chocolate easter eggs are extremely important for an eggstra-ordinary Easter. Hence our workshop focuses on creating a variety of flavours with chocolate to suit everyone’s taste buds. In addition to the elegance they carry, they’re exceptionally delectable and melt in the mouth. So, if you fancy treating yourself and the very special people in your life to something a bit more special, then this workshop is for you. So go ahead and enrol your seat to a fun, yummy and special Easter.

​MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Sunita Lobo is the founder of Knead N Bake a home bakery set up with one goal in mind to make lives sweeter. She began her career in baking in 2011 and over the last decade has excelled across the entire gamete of bakery and patisserie and confectionary. She has completed a professional pastry chef course from the Academy of Pastry Arts. She has also tutored under a number of international chefs on her journey towards mastering the art of cake decorating.

 

Through Knead n Bake she focuses on enhancing lives through teaching and uplifting housewives to grow and run businesses of their own. She has also carried out assignments with home-bakers and top industry professionals.

She is also the master of creating and designing cakes for every occasion including weddings, birthdays, baptisms, communions, anniversaries etc. She has also worked with corporates in supplying hampers for events and holiday give-aways.
